Peter Heselden (b. 1952, d. 2017) was a British community theatre supporter and prominent local figure in Sandgate, Kent. He is best remembered for his significant involvement with The Tower Theatre and for his wider contributions to the cultural life of the Sandgate and Folkestone area.
He resided in Sandgate, near Folkestone in Kent, and was known within the local community for his enthusiasm for the arts, particularly amateur and community theatre.

In recognition of his dedication and lasting impact, the theatre’s bar area was named the Peter Heselden Bar in his honour.

His daughter, Alice Hawkins, is a prominent member of FHODS and regularly directs, produces and acts in FHODS productions.
