Synopsis
Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks is a heartfelt comedy-drama about an unlikely friendship that develops between Lily Harrison, a widowed retiree, and Michael Minetti, a cynical dance instructor. When Lily hires Michael to give her private dance lessons at her Florida condo, their clashing personalities initially lead to friction. However, as they dance through the cha-cha, tango, and other styles, they open up about their past struggles, losses, and dreams. Through laughter, arguments, and shared vulnerabilities, their relationship transforms into a deep and touching bond that defies age and expectations. The play explores themes of loneliness, acceptance, and the healing power of human connection.
