The FHODS Youth Section is a drama programme for young people aged 12–18, run by the Folkestone-Hythe Operatic and Dramatic Society. Members meet every Sunday at The Tower Theatre and stage two productions on the main stage each year.

The Youth Section is run by Michelle Hartley.

History

In its earlier years, the Youth Section staged three productions annually:

  • The Brigadier Thomas Competition (spring) — a collection of one-act plays written, directed, and performed by Youth Section members around a common theme.
