It has been my absolute honour to work with this group now for three years - a group of talented, passionate, caring, committed, dedicated, accepting and generally incredible young performers. | |||
''Into The Woods'' is my all-time favourite musical. I love every single character, every single line and everything single about it! Myself and my husband, Andy, both love Sondheim, and he has been Musical Director for the show three times before with other companies. | |||
We have wanted to direct ''Into The Woods'' together for 18 years, and when the opportunity presented itself, there is no other group of actors that I would want to work with, to help bring this wonderful show to life. | |||
This for me, is a life ambition fulfilled, and I coulnd't be prouder of the Youth Section for what they have achived. Sondheim is hard, very hard, and ''Into The Woods'' is one of the more difficult productions to perform. From the beginning, I new that this group would absolutely rise to the challenge, and shine like the stars they are. | |||
A huge thanks must go to my team of Andy and Ben who have been invaluable, all the parents that have allowed the numerous rehearsals to take place, Karen Prineas and our Chaperones - without which, the show wouldn't be able to happen. | |||
It is also a sad time for me, because I am losing a large number of the group in July, and I can't imagine my time here without them, and I will miss them terribly. | |||
But for now, you are lucky enough to enjoy their performances in the show, alongside all the other phenomenal actors that you are about to see. | |||

Welcome to The Tower Theatre, and the Youth Section's production of Into the Woods. We so appreciate your support for this amazing group of youngsters.
It has been my absolute honour to work with this group now for three years - a group of talented, passionate, caring, committed, dedicated, accepting and generally incredible young performers.
Into The Woods is my all-time favourite musical. I love every single character, every single line and everything single about it! Myself and my husband, Andy, both love Sondheim, and he has been Musical Director for the show three times before with other companies.
We have wanted to direct Into The Woods together for 18 years, and when the opportunity presented itself, there is no other group of actors that I would want to work with, to help bring this wonderful show to life.
